Do aplikacji do wnętrza pochwy przeznaczone są specjalne postaci leku z klotrimazolem np. Canesten (miękkie kapsułki dopochwowe) czy Clotidal (krem dopochwowy). Kremy z klotrimazolem nieopisane jako dopochwowy można stosować na skórę i błony śluzowe zewnętrznych narządów płciowych - u kobiet na wargi sromowe.
