Zwiększenie masy ciała to możliwe działanie niepożądane krążka Ginoring - występuje jednak nie częściej niż u 1 na 10 kobiet. Skutki uboczne mogą, ale nie muszą wystąpić. Nie można zatem jednoznacznie stwierdzić, że Ginoring powoduje tycie, ponieważ taki skutek dotyczy tylko pewnej grupy kobiet. Nie da się z góry przewidzieć czy i jakie efekty niepożądane mogą wystąpić u konkretnej pacjentki.
