Can Viregyt-K used in COVID-19 cause hypertension?

Does Viregyt raise blood pressure? I started using it on covit and the pressure jumped a lot. Pressure pills help a little, but still persists 160/90 Should I stop covid treatment?

Ponieważ jak do tej pory wskazania do stosowania leku Viregyt-K nie zostały poszerzone o leczenie pacjentów z COVID-19 - proszę skonsultować się z lekarzem, który zaordynował tego typu terapię. Standardowo w leczeniu objawów choroby Parkinsona stosuje się 1-2 kapsułki leku na dobę, zatem jeśli w leczeniu COVID-19 stosowała Pani wyższe dawki, zaobserwowane nadciśnienie może być symptomem przedawkowania amantadyny, dlatego należy skonsultować się z lekarzem. Jeśli specjalista uzna za zasadne może zdecydować o zmianie sposobu leczenia.
