Xarelto nie ma odpowiednika, który farmaceuta mógłby wydać zamiennie w aptece, natomiast w sprawie ewentualnej zmiany leku na inny, może doradzić lekarz, zapoznany z historią zdrowia Pani mamy.

Zależnie od stanu zdrowia i historii chorób Pani mamy, lekarz może włączyć inne leki przeciwzakrzepowe nowej generacji, np. dabigatran (Pradaxa) czy apiksaban (Eliquis). Mogą to być także inne produkty lecznicze, dlatego szczegóły należy omówić z lekarzem.
