Before starting treatment with Pylera, tell your doctor if you have previously had changes in your ECG or if you have heart rhythm problems. It is also particularly important to know whether you are or have been taking a drug such as amiodarone in connection with the above.
This is an important warning because one of the ingredients in Pylera, metronidazole, can increase changes in the ECG and lead to arrhythmias when given with medicines that can cause similar changes in the ECG.
