How long to take Budesonide Lek-Am after COVID-19?

How many days should I take Budesonide LEK-AM 200 μg/120 pcs. It was prescribed for a cough after covid, however, the doctor did not tell me how long I should take it. Can there be any side effects from the drug and can I fly with it?

Usually, you should continue to use the medicine for a few days after the symptoms (cough, shortness of breath) have subsided. The drug should be discontinued gradually to avoid side effects.

Budesonide, like any drug, can cause side effects. Among the most common are: headaches, oral mycosis, hoarseness.

There are no contraindications to flying during Budesonide treatment and after treatment. What's more, it's a good idea to take your medication with you for the duration of your flight, as cough symptoms may worsen and you may need to take the medication if you come into contact with the air conditioning.
