Can I use Stoperan or Smecta for diarrhea after an antibiotic?

Good morning. I take the antibiotic Macromax 500mg, 3 capsules, today I took the last one. Strong diarrhea appeared, can I apply Stoperan or Smecta? She also takes a probiotic 2 times a day, in the morning and in the evening. Thank you for your reply.

In the case of antibiotic diarrhea, it is recommended to use preparations with yeast Saccharomyces boulardii, e.g. Enterol. Stoperan will act only symptomatically, and not on the cause of diarrhea, i.e. disorders of the intestinal bacterial flora associated with the use of antibiotics. You can additionally use Smecta, but remember to keep at least 2 hours away from other medicines.
