Can I take a Depo-provera injection every day of my cycle?

Good morning. Can I take Depo Provera every day of my cycle, not just the first day of my period? For how many days do I have to protect myself additionally?

It is usually recommended to give Depo-provera injections in the first five days of the menstrual cycle to ensure contraceptive efficacy right away. However, in some cases, the injection may be given on a different day of the cycle. If you plan to receive the Depo-provera injection on another day of the cycle, please note that the contraceptive effect will not be effective immediately and you should use additional contraceptive methods such as condoms for some time (usually up to 7 days). Please also note that Depo-provera contraceptive injection is only available with a prescription and you should consult your doctor before taking it.
