How quickly do the symptoms of allergy to the drug pass?

I used Cartexan for 6 days on the 4th day I got rashes and discontinued the drug. It's been 5 days and I still have changes on my skin that hurt me. I have the impression that a dozen needles were put in my affected areas. I am now abroad and have difficult contact with my doctor. My question is how long it can take for these changes to go back. Thank you for your reply

How quickly the changes will subside is an individual matter. It usually takes a few days. In this situation, it is worth reaching for one of the antihistamines that relieve symptoms such as itching and rash. In Poland, most of the drugs in this group are available without a prescription. However, the situation abroad may vary. It is best to go to the nearest pharmacy and ask about a drug containing, for example, cetirizine or loratadine. More about this group of drugs can be read in the text: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/leki-przeciwhistaminowe
