I have been taking Efectin ER for 4 days and I feel chest tightness and insomnia, should I stop taking the medicine?

Hello. From four days. Days I take Efwstin37.3. I have problems as it seems to me neurotic seizures.. I have no contact with a doctor because he is on vacation and besides, I am abroad. After taking the drug, all the symptoms intensified for me, additionally the lack of sleep compressions in the chest. Take a tablet once a day in the morning. Should I wean? If so, how?

The symptoms you mentioned are a relatively common reaction to the drug observed by patients at the beginning of treatment. They usually resolve spontaneously within 2 weeks of starting treatment. Do not stop taking the medicine if your symptoms are not so severe that they prevent you from functioning on a daily basis. The healing effect of Efectin develops during the first 3 weeks of therapy, so I encourage you to be patient. I encourage you to read the efectin ER leaflet – it is worth knowing the side effects that are typical of the drug in order to be able to distinguish other disturbing symptoms.
