Are bruises at Seronil normal? I have been taking Seronil for 2 weeks, today I go from 10mg to 20mg from 2-3 days I get bruises on my thighs a little larger than the tip of my thumb. Should this worry me, or is it a normal side effect with these drugs? Yours sincerely

Seronil may cause an increased tendency to both bleeding and bruising. However, this is not an adverse reaction that occurs frequently in patients. There may also be more frequent nosebleeds or bleeding gums when brushing your teeth, or bleeding from the genital tract. Do you use medications that affect blood clotting? Both without a prescription (Acard, Polocard) and on prescription? It is possible that bruising does not directly affect the Seronil you are taking. If these are small changes (the size of the fingertip) please do not worry and observe. When the changes worsen, you should go to the attending physician.
