What should I do if I have hypersensitivity to my eyes after Dexafree?
Good morning, at the end of April I got gradowki with inflammation. Cyclically every week I was prescribed different antibiotics and steroids. In total, I chose 8 antibiotics including floxal, dexamytex, levomer and dexafree. Unfortunately, after the last one I noticed a high sensitivity of the eyes, when using the face cream after a few hours my eyes are very watery. I bought artificial tears, unfortunately the problem is still there. What to do?

I encourage you to consult your doctor. It may be necessary to introduce additional treatment. Dexafree is not an antibiotic, but a preparation with a corticosteroid with anti-inflammatory effect. When using Dexafree, it may happen that side effects such as discomfort, irritation, burning, stinging and itching occur. These side effects are described as mild and transient. In some patients, the consequence of using the drug is, m.in, the occurrence of keratitis. Keratitis is manifested, for example, by redness and pain in the eye. Inflammation may also occur, manifested m.in by lacrimation.
