According to the requirements of the European Commission, metotab can no longer be packed in bottles, it is necessary to pack the drug in blisters. Therefore, the manufacturer did not decide to change the form of the packaging and continue the production of this drug, as this would also mean that the drug would no longer be reimbursed. The consequence of these decisions is the end of the production of Metotab, it will no longer be available on the Polish market.
