Good morning, can chibroxin be used for the nose for a yellow runny nose?such recommendations are from the doctor , but on the leaflet it is written that this drug is administered to the eye, or the doctor was not mistaken. The more so because this drug is to be used by a five-year-old child. At the same time, it is supposed to take sinupret drops based on alcohol. Is it possible to combine both drugs?

Chibroxin is an eye drug, has antibacterial properties. The use of eye drugs for the nose in the case of features of a bacterial infection is practiced by some doctors, while this is a procedure outside the registered indications. I suppose the pediatrician was not mistaken, but he should explain to the parent exactly why he recommends the drug in a way other than that intended in the drug documentation.
