In the case of Nimesil, its high binding to plasma proteins makes its penetration into breast milk unlikely. Nevertheless, it is worth bearing in mind that in many countries since 2002 the approval of drugs with nimesulide has been suspended due to the increased risk of severe liver toxicity. Bearing in mind the above aspect and the lack of test results proving the safety of nimesulide, you should not breastfeed during its use. If absolutely necessary, the interval between taking the medicine and getting the baby to the breast should be kept as long as possible. If you are breastfeeding, it is worth considering the use of other painkillers that are known to be safer for both mother and infant, e.g. iburpfen.
