Glucophage or any other chronic medicines should not be discontinued on your own or the doses should not be modified without consulting your doctor. If you suffer from side effects related to pharmacotherapy, or for other reasons you are considering discontinuing the treatment - please first discuss it with the doctor prescribing the drug.
