Metformin does not affect pressure changes as strongly as flozin drugs (all ending in -flozin, e.g. dapagliflozin). Headache can appear at low pressure. Much depends on what the values look like during the day - whether such pressure is "normal" in a given patient, or at certain times it drops very much. Low pressure values (unless they are an expression of another disease) have a protective effect on the cardiovascular system, but the patient's well-being is also important. If it is too low, there may be, for example, headaches, dizziness - the risk of falling, etc.

Is the pressure that persists within 85 x 60 after taking metformin dangerous for the heart If I feel good except for a headache. In addition, body temperature is usually 35 and 5 bars. Thank you very much for the previous answer and please next one. Regards🤗

Xigduo is a preparation that combines metformin and dapagliflozin (flozin). Drugs such as flozins work in such a way that excess glucose is excreted in the urine. Due to this mechanism of action, dapagliflozin increases diuresis (urine output), which may result in a slight decrease in blood pressure. This is most noticeable in patients with very high blood glucose levels. The use of dapagliflozin 10 mg in human studies resulted in a change in systolic pressure from baseline of -3.7 mmHg and diastolic pressure of -1.8 mmHg. If you also use drugs for hypertension, are over 75 years of age, have already had cases of too low pressure or have diseases of the gastrointestinal tract (or even simple poisoning, diarrhea, was dehydrated), it is recommended to carefully control the level of fluids - and replenish them in case of deficiency. If you feel too low pressure and symptoms such as head turns, weakness - it is worth contacting the attending physician and reporting your observations.
