Podczas stosowania leku Izotek pacjenci mogą odczuwać: wysuszenie skóry, pieczenie, świąd, rumień czy podrażnienie skóry. U wielu pacjentów produkty z witaminą C, szczególnie o dużym stężeniu, mogą wywoływać ściągnięcie i wysuszenie skóry, dlatego nie zaleca się w tym okresie stosowania tego typu produktów.
