W okresie leczenia należy unikać ekspozycji na promienie słoneczne, ze względu na ryzyko wystąpienia skórnych reakcji nadwrażliwości na światło.
Dodatkowo jeśli infekcji towarzyszy podwyższona temperatura ciała, nie należy przebywać na słońcu, a w zacienionym, chłodnym miejscu, dbając o odpowiednie nawodnienie.
