Można spotkać się z takim zastosowaniem, natomiast według mojej najlepszej wiedzy nie jest to rekomendowane postępowanie. Nie należy także podawać tego leku "na własną rękę". Jeśli właściciel zwierzęcia nie planuje go rozmnażać, to najbardziej wskazanym środkiem antykoncepcyjnym jest sterylizacja kotki.
