Wszystko zależy od tego, czym spowodowany jest ból - czy są to, np. zaparcia, czy żylaki odbytu (hemoroidy).
Konieczne jest wprowadzenie odpowiedniej diety, w razie potrzeby można zastosować leki łagodzące zaparcia, np. Dicopeg junior, Xenna Balance Junior lub czopki glicerynowe. Przed ewentualnym zastosowaniem preparatów przeciwbólowych z lidokainą w kremie, należy skonsultować się z lekarzem pediatrą. Objawowo można zastosować doustne leki o działaniu przeciwbólowym i przeciwzapalnym, np. z ibuprofenem.
