Can I use Diaprel MR if I have a stone in my kidney?

I have diaprel but on Friday it turned out that I have a stone in my kidney. Can it be used? And is this drug good for insulin resistance or better aviamine? Please help. Because so far for 3 weeks I have not taken because I am on a diet for diabetic. I have already lost 14 kg of sugar and i have gently increased it after meals to 130.
