In the treatment of bacterial acute sinusitis, amoxicillin is recommended for 10 days - in children weighing less than 40 kg at a dose of 75-90 mg/kg/day in 2 divided doses. That is, in the case of a child weighing 29.5 kg, it is recommended to administer at least 2200 mg per day. At a dosing of 8.5 ml of Amoksiklav 400 + 57 mg/5 ml twice daily, the daily dose of amoxicillin is 1360 mg, which is too low.
