Can Gynoxin Uno be used at 37 weeks of pregnancy? Was the doctor wrong?

Gynoxin Uno in 37tc. Was the doctor wrong? Everywhere I see that it is forbidden and I do not know if I should be afraid of it. What side effects can it have in pregnancy?

Gynoxin Uno (fenticonazole) is an antiprotozoal and antifungal medicine used to treat various fungal infections, such as vaginal mycosis. Its use in pregnancy is discouraged by the manufacturer and should be carried out only if the benefits to the mother outweigh the potential risk to the developing fetus. The fact that your doctor prescribed Gynoxin Uno at 37 weeks of pregnancy should be discussed carefully with your doctor. As a pharmacist, I can only give you general information. In general, the use of antiprotozoal and antifungal drugs in pregnancy is monitored and evaluated by the doctor for the risk to the fetus. Fenticonazole is contraindicated in the first trimester of pregnancy because it may increase the risk of birth defects. In the later trimesters (week 37 is the beginning of the third trimester), if there is a real need to treat a fungal infection, your doctor may consider its use, evaluating the benefits and risks.
