I have been taking Siofor for 3 weeks, abdominal pain, diarrhea, nausea, cramps in the lower abdomen appeared. What could it be?

Good morning, for about 3 weeks I have been taking Siofor (crushed) for the first 2 weeks. Everything was okay, sometimes there was only stomach pain for a short time. However, for a week I have abdominal pain, nausea, frequent diarrhoea and cramps in the abdomen and lower abdomen. The weight loss somehow did not decrease significantly. Please answer because I have no idea what's going on.

The described symptoms are very common side effects that appear at the initial stage of treatment and usually disappear spontaneously after a few weeks. To alleviate their intensity until then, it is recommended: -taking the medicine with or just after food; If the daily dose is taken once, it is best to take it together with dinner - if possible - divide the doses during the day (instead of taking a single dose), i.e. instead of two tablets in the evening, take one in the morning and the other in the evening. If the current dosage does not allow it, a possible change requires prior consultation with a doctor. - slowly increase the dose - this improves tolerance from the gastrointestinal tract If the symptoms do not disappear or worsen, consultation with a doctor will be necessary.
