Do Gynalgin globules need to be stopped for the duration of menstruation and finished after?

Good morning. Do gynalgin globules need to be stopped for the duration of menstruation and finished after? Yes I was informed but I wanted to ask because on the Internet writes completely differently. And also whether on holiday using the pool I can finish these globules, because I do not want to take a long break between treatment and holidays already booked immediately after menstruation.

The use of Gynalgin should be avoided during menstruation. According to the leaflet, treatment should be started 2 to 4 days after the end of menstruation and continued for 10 days. In general, the doctor asks the patient about the expected date of bleeding at the stage of prescribing Gynalgin in order to best plan the therapy. If the date of bleeding is approaching - he informs how he thinks the treatment should look like. Menstrual blood leaches the drug from the vagina, which means that the treatment may not be effective. This is the reason why globules or vaginal tablets are not recommended in most cases during menstruation. If you suffer from an intimate infection, you should not use the pool.
