Should I be afraid of Nimesil?

Good morning. I have intercostal neuralgia. I was prescribed Nimesil. I am afraid of this drug because I have never taken such drugs. Do I have anything to be afraid of, is it a safe medicine?

Any medication may or may not cause side effects. For each authorised preparation, the profile of both efficacy and safety shall be assessed. This does not mean that you will definitely not experience any side effects. This is an individual matter. Nimesil is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) indicated for the treatment of acute pain. If the doctor decided that this medicine is right for you and will be used as directed by your doctor and manufacturer, for an appropriate period of time (preferably the shortest possible and no longer than 15 days in one treatment cycle), then the risk of side effects decreases.
