Is a dose of 3.5 ml every 12 hours of Augmentin ES for a child weighing 19 kg adequate?

The usual dose of Augmentin ES suspension in children is (90 mg + 6.4 mg) for every kilogram of body weight per day, given in two divided doses. From my calculations, it appears that this dose is ok. Twice as low at the recommended doses for use in a child weighing 19 kg, however, this drug is only dispensed with a doctor's prescription - if he recommended such a dosage, perhaps it was intentional, given the state of health of the child. The dose is always individually selected by the doctor. I recommend contacting the person who prescribed the antibiotic to make sure the dosage is correct.
