What are the symptoms of Poisoning with Vermox ?
Good morning. The son has pinworms. He got pyrantelum, the next day the doctor ordered to give one more tablet of vermox. Today, the son vomited and had diarrhea. For this subfebrile state. Could it be poisoning? Did the doctor correctly order to take another medicine the next day?

Accidental overdose of Vermox can cause abdominal cramps, nausea, vomiting and diarrhoea. I don't know what age the child is, or what dose was taken, but perhaps it was too high. Neither the manufacturer of Vermox nor Pyrantelum provides information about the interactions between the two medicines, nor is there any information on the need to maintain a break when using the two medicines.
