As a general rule, Eliquis can be discontinued overnight without having to reduce the dose. This situation occurs, for example, in the case of an upcoming surgical procedure. However, perhaps there are additional factors that may affect the blood clotting parameters in your case. I have no information about the other medications you are using or the additional medical conditions that influenced you to be prescribed Eliquis.
