Good morning. About a month ago, I had a nail torn. The doctors decided to leave it to me, not to break it, because the new nail would push it out. And for 4 days, I have it terribly swollen, this swollen part hurts, the rest does not. Can something dangerous happen there?

What you describe bears the features of zastzału, i.e. inflammation of the nail. Probably, at the site of swelling, pus accumulates, which causes pain and makes it difficult to function. A detailed answer to a similar question was given here: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/opinie-i-pytania/73839/octenisept-jak-poradzic-sobie-z-bolesna-ropiejaca-ranka-przy-paznokciu If a few days of use of the above preparations does not bring results, I encourage you to consult a doctor again, who will assess the condition of the nail based on the results of tests and physical examination.
