There is no absolute contraindication to the use of Bonviva for more than 10 years. In principle, the manufacturer of the drug has not established the optimal duration of treatment and it is the doctor who decides on the continuation of therapy based on the ratio of health benefits to potential risks associated with the use of the drug in a given patient. I attach the leaflet of the drug: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/13291/bonviva-tabletki-powlekane/ulotka
I took Bonviva for about 10 years I had a break of 3 years and now the doctor recommends me to take it again. Earlier I heard that you can only use it no longer than just 10 years?
