Taking medication on an empty stomach Good morning! Today I woke up with shortness of breath in my bronchi and immediately after waking up I took a solution of acc optima. It was only after drinking that it touched me to see if I could take this medicine on an empty stomach. On the leaflet there was information to take it after the meal. Hence my question whether taking this drug on an empty stomach will somehow negatively affect it? Will it absorb too quickly? Too slow? Won't it absorb completely?

The use of ACC Optima on an empty stomach may cause irritation of the gastrointestinal tract. Gastrointestinal disorders such as diarrhea may occur: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/1513/acc-optima-tabletki-musujace/ulotka/42899 More about how to combine drugs with food we wrote in the article: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/jak-laczyc-leki-z-jedzeniem
