Can I use Lactulose before magnetic resonance imaging of the abdomen?

Hello. Can I take Lactulosum before magnetic resonance imaging of the abdomen? The doctor suspects Crohn's disease or bowel involvement. So I'm afraid to take xenne or other such types because the contraindications are given just intestinal diseases. Bora 2x a day duspatalin retard and if I have cramps or gas-filled intestine is meteospasmyl. Please odp.

Lactulosum does not interfere with the medicines you are taking. However, if it is actually Crohn's disease - the use of Lactulosum may be contraindicated. Then you should give up all drugs for constipation, but you can run probiotic products: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/zycie-z-choroba-crohna

So with these drugs that I take, I can take lactulose? Considering that I may have these conditions? I mean, doesn't interfere in any way.

Yes, before magnetic resonance imaging of the abdomen, Lactulose can be used. Before performing the test, you should remain fasting, i.e. do not eat food for at least 6 hours before the test, and 4 hours before it, also refrain from drinking. Medications taken constantly should be taken according to the doctor's indications.
