What over-the-counter food allergy medication can be used in the absence of Claritine Allergy?

What remedy for food allergy without a prescription? I also have lactose intolerance. My symptoms are itching, constipation. I've always been helped by claritine allergy syrup but I think it's been discontinued because I can't find it anywhere.
