Can Euthyrox be used to treat depression?

Good morning, the psychiatrist suggests adding euthyrox to therapy because I have depression and feel tired and sleepy all day, and antidepressants do not help for this. Is it possible to use euthyrox in this case? I'm slim and nervous. I have normal thyroid blood test results. Is it possible to induce iatrogenic hyperthyroidism? Can I harm myself? Thanks in advance for your reply

Stany depresyjne mogą stanowić objaw dużej niedoczynności tarczycy, jeśli w Pana przypadku stężenie TSH mieści się w granicach wartości referencyjnych sugeruję skonsultowanie się z endokrynologiem przed podjęciem ostatecznej decyzji.

Na naszym portalu pracują farmaceuci. Nie leży w naszych kompetencjach diagnozowanie chorób. Bardzo trudne jest też dobranie terapii na podstawie internetowego wywiadu. Proszę udać się do lekarza, który na podstawie wyników badań i badania fizykalnego zakwalifikuje Pana do terapii.
