Am I entitled to Metformax 500 mg for a discount?

Hello, I would like to ask how the payment is about metformin, namely Metformax 500mg, I have abdominal obesity and NASH unfortunately glycemia for a long time in the morning is above the norm - about 100-115. I had done twice the so-called sugar curve and on an empty stomach glycemia as always elevated, but after 2 hours the normal level, insulin test in the norm.. the diabetologist diagnosed prediabetes and ordered Metformax 500mg but once a day in the evening because I have problems with the liver and diet + physical activity. I received a prescription for 100% and the family doctor continues the treatment prescribing this drug at 100% and in the pharmacy I asked and apparently I am entitled to a discount in this disease.. I will add that the diabetologist thought for a long time to order me this drug because it is not diabetes and as he said in this state not always given metformin but just diet + physical activity.. due to other diseases - liver, hypertension, obese abdomen wrote this drug.
