Bez konsultacji z pediatrą syrop można podawać do czasu ustąpienia objawów - jeśli jednak objawy nie ustąpią w ciągu tygodnia - należy poradzić się lekarza.

U 3-tygodniowego dziecka na zaparcia można stosować lek Lactulosum Hasco:

Dawka początkowa to 2,5 ml syropu na dobę.

Następnie dawkę można stopniowo zwiększać co 3 dni, do uzyskania prawidłowych wypróżnień.
