Zgodnie z informacją zawartą w ulotce leku, zalecane dawkowanie dla dorosłych i dzieci w wieku powyżej 12 lat to 5 ml syropu do 4 razy na dobę. Podejrzewam, że zalecona przez lekarza dawka była spowodowana masą ciała - w przypadku osób dorosłych waga jest większa niż u dzieci, stąd pomysł aby również proporcjonalnie zwiększyć dawkę leku. Jeśli mąż ma obawy co do dawkowania - można je zmniejszyć do około 7-10ml 4x na dobę, tym bardziej jeśli kaszel nie jest bardzo uciążliwy.
