A 2% solution of calcium chloride hexahydrate is used for iontophoresis, while calcium chloratum dihydrate is used in ampoules of Calcium chloratum WZF.
In a 2% solution of CaCl2 in a volume of 200ml from the raw material to the recipe, we therefore have 4g of the substance (0.73g of calcium ion). To obtain the same amount of calcium ions from Calcium chloratum WZF 670mg/10ml, use 4 ampoules and top up with water up to 200 ml. Use 160 ml of water.
Since Calcium chloratum WZF 10% is not included in the list of drugs treated as pharmaceutical raw materials, such a prescription should be priced at full cost.
