I have a question, why currently in most pharmacies Hydrominum supplements are unavailable? Has something happened with the composition, pharmaceutical regulations, etc.?

Temporary problems with product availability may be related to the regulation of the European Commission from the end of November last year. This regulation assumes that only until 21 June 2023 it was possible to sell supplements with green tea extract containing more than 800 mg (-)-3-gallate of epigallocatechin (EGCG) in a daily portion and those with a lower content of this substance, but without additional information on the product packaging. European authorities have recognised that incorrect use of products containing EGCG in the composition may have harmful effects on human health. As a result, foodstuffs, including food supplements, which do not comply with the requirements, cannot remain on the market after 21 June 2023. In the case of Hydrominum, the set daily dose has not been exceeded, however, the regulation imposes an obligation to change the information on the product packaging - the manufacturer must add some information. Therefore, there may be temporary shortages of the product on the market, soon it should be available in new packaging. The packaging must now carry warnings that read: "Do not consume if you already consume other products containing green tea", "Should not be consumed by pregnant or breastfeeding women, children under 18 years of age", "Seek medical advice on the consumption of this product if health problems occur", "Do not consume on an empty stomach".
