Has the pack changed for Symbicort Turbohaler?

Recently I bought 3 packages of Symbicort 320 whose container after opening the outer packaging (paper) was NOT secured with clamping foil. It turns out that the dosage is also strange, instead of 60 doses you can "wring" over 70. I think this is some kind of batch of medicine that hit the market. In the pharmacy I was told that there is a seal on the outer packaging made of paper and that is enough.

I have received information from the Medical Department of AstraZeneca Pharma Poland Sp. z o.o. that AstraZeneca has decided to remove the foil cover from the packaging of the Symbicort Turbohaler 320/9 inhaler. The safety cover used earlier was to ensure that the inhaler was intact. At present, as the pharmacist explained in the pharmacy, the security is a security label on the outer cardboard packaging, so it is not necessary to use a foil cover. An intact label protecting the packaging guarantees the safety of the product. If the carton has an intact protective film, the absence of a protective film on the inhaler does not constitute a defect in the product and does not affect the safety for the patient. If you are in doubt about the number of doses contained in the packaging of a medicinal product, go to the pharmacy where the drug was purchased and file a complaint. In this situation, the advertised product goes to the wholesaler and then to the manufacturer.

User questions and answers that provide feedback about products are not verified for the purchase or use of the product. Companies often order anonymous comments to form positive opinions about their products, or negative ones about competitors. Therefore, be guided by the information in the pharmacists' responses in the first place.
