I was diagnosed with hyperandrogenism - will Probella cause the cycle to be adjusted and will menstruation occur after the end of the first package?

Hello. I was diagnosed with hyperandrogenism with a complete atrophy of the month. I am 31 years old. The gynecologist prescribed me probella tablets for 6 cycles. Will these pills regulate the cycles? Should the first menstruation already occur after the end of the first package? Greetings and thank you for your reply

Probella is a drug used in the treatment of endometriosis, has an antiandrogenic effect (i.e. lowers the level of male sex hormones) and has an effect on the cycle, but this does not necessarily mean its adjustment. The doctor could have saved this preparation precisely because of the anti-androgenic effectiveness in the treatment of symptoms of hyperandrogenism such as acne lesions, skin function disorders, changes in hair density. Bleeding and spotting may occur while taking Probella, but it is difficult to determine at what point during the treatment they may occur. Ambiguities related to the prescribed treatment and the course of treatment should be discussed with the attending physician.
