Should I still give Klacid to the children?

Klacid enrolled in a 4-year-old and a half-year-old child for interstitial pneumonia. Yesterday I gave it for the last time. 8 day. Today day 9, children cough. Serve again for another 2 days? From tomorrow, for example? The doctor prescribed it for 8-10 days.

If the doctor has not auscultated the children and has not changed the recommendations in the meantime, then the antibiotic should be used until the end of the package. One of the main principles of effective antibiotic therapy is to maintain its continuity. Too early termination of therapy promotes the development of bacterial resistance to the antibiotic, increasing not only the risk of recurrence of the disease, but also the lack of effectiveness of the drug in repeated infection. I enclose a description of the preparation that you give: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/40213/klacid-granulat-do-wytworzenia-zawiesiny/ulotka/74626
