Carbocysteina (Pulnozin) to lek sekretolityczny. Lek działa zarówno za katar jak i na kaszel mokry. Rozrzedzająca wydzielinę i powoduje jej upłynnienie. Ruch rzęsek pomaga w oczyszczeniu dróg oddechowych.
Należy pamiętać o nawodnieniu (przynajmniej 2 l wody na dobę) przy przyjmowaniu leku z Carbocysteiną.
