One of the indications for the use of Femoston is hormone replacement therapy (HRT) in case of symptoms of estrogen deficiency in women who have had at least 6 months since their last menstrual period. An important factor in this matter is not only the level of estrogen itself, but the occurrence of symptoms of their deficiency. Whether a particular patient has indications for the inclusion of therapy is decided by the doctor on the basis of the collected anamnesis and the results of hormonal tests. The level of estradiol in menstruating women changes during the menstrual cycle, so in order to be able to interpret the result, the doctor needs information in which phase of the cycle the examination was performed.
