I took a month off from NuvaRing discs. For the whole month I had spotting (brown) yesterday I got a red tribe and I decided that it was a period so I put on a krazek. But today in panties clean and it turned out that this is not a period. What should I do now? How to count the days with the puck?

After stopping the use of hormonal contraception for several months, irregular spotting and bleeding may occur. Assessment of whether the bleeding occurring was menstruation or simply stronger spotting or mid-cycle bleeding can be made by a gynecologist (m.in based on the assessment of the ultrasound performed). Due to the fact that you are not sure whether the bleeding was menstruation or not, I encourage you to use an additional contraceptive method throughout the first month of using the Nuvaring disc. It should be considered that full contraceptive effectiveness will be achieved only with the attachment of the second disc. Currently, please take as Day 1 the moment when you put on the disc: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/55364/nuvaring-przyrzad/ulotka/109760 More about how to use contraception correctly we wrote in the article: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/jak-prawidlowo-stosowac-antykoncepcje
