Treatment should be continued despite the observed spotting. According to the manufacturer: In the first months of treatment, transient bleeding and mid-cycle spotting may occur. If bleeding or spotting occurs later (i.e. after 3-4 cycles of Femoston Conti) or persists despite stopping treatment, a gynecologist should be consulted and appropriate diagnostics should be carried out.
